Agape Family Care held its inaugural Charity Golf Tournament at The Chapman Golf Club in Eastlea, Harare on the 2nd of September 2022 with the mission being to fundraise and fully support its humanitarian initiatives spearheaded by the visionary Ruth Emmanuel-Makandiwa.

 

The Golf Tournament turned out to be a success due to the supportive sponsors as well as a great group of golfers and volunteers who had the opportunity to also network on a beautiful day of competitive golfing.

 

Some of the sponsors included Stanbic Bank, ZB Bank, CABS, Nyaradzo Group, Baker Tilly, Best Car Rental, Moonlight Provident Association, Old Mutual Insurance Company, Great Dyke Contracting, Mak Productions, CROWE. BMFT, Wildale Limited, Intercrete, Money Konsul, Chubbb Security just to mention but a few.

 

Good handshakes, honest scoring, playing by the rules, and kind words of encouragement was the order of the day. This noble program is set to be slated on the Agape Family Care annual calendar considering that there was a full field and the target amount was achieved.

 

Proceeds from the tournament will be channeled towards supporting and implementing Agape Family Care’s programs that include Livelihoods, Education, Institutions Support, Health Outreaches, Albinism Awareness and the #GirlChildSheCan Campaign.
