WHO WE ARE

WE ARE AGAPE FAMILY CARE

Agape Family Care is a Private Voluntary Organisation registered according to the laws of Zimbabwe. Our registration number is PVO 41/2015

Agape Family Care was founded by Ruth Makandiwa, who is also the chairperson of the organisation. Under the leadership of this great visionary, we have impacted thousands of lives all over Zimbabwe.

Since 2008, our mandate as AFC is to share the love of God with all nations and we have committed ourselves to this noble cause of bringing hope and transforming lives.

We do not discriminate, neither do we undermine people. Rather, we are more of a transitional bridge into a place of comfort and love for the lost, the forgotten, the hopeless and the broken-hearted.

The objectives of Agape Family Care are:

  • To cater for the educational needs of the underprivileged up to tertiary level.
  • To cater for the needs of orphans and widows by providing food and clothing.
  • To provide relief aid to communities affected by natural disasters.
  • To assist troubled Welfare institutions.

HISTORY

VISION

To take God’s Love to the Nations.

MISSION

To be God’s preferred channel for the distribution of His Love to the world by reaching out to the less privileged (Widows, Orphans, Prisoners, the Elderly, the Vulnerable and the destitute) and to transform their lives by administering the love of God to them through Food Aid Distribution, Projects Assistance, Life Skills Training, Facilitating Healthy Living Conditions and any other way we can assist in.

INSPIRATION

Inspired by Dr Ruth Makandiwa’s passion and love to see the transformation and restoration of the poor and brokenhearted.
