AFC Scholarships: Prosper Zimbandi

Many can draw inspiration from Prosper Zimbandi considering how she has exhibited her strength beyond all odds despite having Albinism. Apart from having Albinism Prosper has had challenges with her diminishing eyesight but that has not stopped her from pursuing her passion – Music.

Prosper’s love for music began at a young age which explains why she is also a member of her local church choir. However apart from exercising her vocals; Prosper has always loved playing the Piano. For her being a part of the “Together in the Same World Campaign” was a true blessing as she became one of Ruth Emmanuel-Makandiwa’s special Scholarship Benefactors. In Prosper’s case her Scholarship Fund covered the full Tuition for her Music Tutelage at the Zimbabwe College of Music.

The Institution that is led by Dr Rachel Chigwanda who is known for challenging female musicians to scale greater heights and go beyond playing second is recognized for producing the best crop of music artists in the country. This priceless opportunity will give Prosper a chance to develop her gift in a safe, supportive and healthy environment where she can thrive and become the best at what she is passionate about.
