AFC Donation to Greenways Trust in Chegutu

Our senior citizens are the pillars of our communities. It is important to recognize them and the contribution that they are making to our society. It is also essential that we care for our older citizens and ensure that they remain safe and well looked after during their twilight years.

Through the implementation of the Institutions Program; Agape Family Care’s mission is to advocate and promote the well-being of older persons as well as alleviating the distress of the elderly and other vulnerable groups. Assigned by Ruth Emmanuel-Makandiwa the team went out to Chegutu, Greenways Trust on a mission of love to share comfort and reassurance with senior citizens during this uncertain and difficult time.

A donation of 10 (8x2L) cooking oil, 10 (10 x2kg) sugar, 10 (10 x 2kg) Rice, 10 (10 x 500g) sugar beans, 5 (6x 2L) Juice, 50 x 10kg mealie meal, 4 (12 x 10) baby diapers and 4 Ladies handbags. To add to their warmth in and out of the winter season 4 x 100L solar geysers complete with fittings were handed over to the highly appreciative residents.
