AFC Emergency Relief Program In Muzarabani

The Muzarabani district of Zimbabwe is synonymous with drought and flood-related disasters thereby bringing a prevalence of food insecurity within the community.

Agape Family Care has responded in the past through disaster relief that is caused by storms and droughts that have hit this district. Many families have faced the reality of not being able to have enough nutrition for their families and to cover for this need the Livelihoods Program embarked on an Emergency Relief Distribution targeted at 500 families in Muzarabani.

The donations made on the 24th of November 2020 comprised of Maize Meal, Food Groceries and Clothing Bales. For hygiene purposes; Laundry Soap, Buckets and Laundry Dishes were also donated to the targeted beneficiaries. The relief program will provide immediate & direct support for vulnerable families within the rural district.
