As the whole world was in a season of celebrating Mothers, our Patron; Ruth Makandiwa sent us on a mission to celebrate Mothers Day with a special group of elderly people in one of the rural areas in Gokwe.

The Agape Family Care team traveled over 400 kilometers from Harare to give a luscious treat and celebrate Mothers Day with 200 elderly mothers and widows in Nembudzia, Gokwe on the 21st of May 2019.

This special group of mothers was treated to a delicious luncheon and each of them received a special Mothers’ Day gift which comprised of a pair of Tennis Shoes, a Blanket, a Grocery Hamper  and a sack of maize.

All the 200 mothers had an unforgettable experience as they got to feel loved, appreciated and celebrated as Mothers.
